Had an awesome time with friends at this casino! The lobby was super flashy, and we loved the variety of games. We checked out the steakhouse and had a fantastic meal. The beachfront view from our room was unreal. Overall, a standout getaway for gamers and foodies alike.
The service at the sports bar was lacking. We had to wait a long time for drinks and food. It was frustrating, especially when the place wasn't even busy.

From the moment you enter through the flashing lights, the ambiance of the casino and hotel is captivating. I stayed with my family, and we loved the spacious room, which offered a great view of Lake Michigan. The kids enjoyed the variety of games in the casino, making it a thrilling experience for all.
In my wife’s opinion, a family-friendly activity area would be great.

Had a mixed experience at Ameristar. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but a bed bug sighting really dampened the mood. The dining options were decent, though the overall vibe felt a bit neglected. With some improvements, it could be a great spot.

The room felt spacious, clean, and offered a nice lake view. The bed was comfortable, but the mattress showed some signs of wear. Staff members were generally friendly, especially Pamela at guest services. she was super helpful. Enjoyed the meals from the sports bar. the shrimp basket was pretty good, but we waited a long time for drinks. Had a frustrating experience with the automatic coffee machine at the front desk—it gave me hot water instead. The casino had a few fun games to try, but the smoking really got to me. There were limited food options during off-peak hours, making it hard to find a decent meal without a long wait. On check-in, I found the staff a bit slow and inconsistent. Despite some drawbacks, I still had an enjoyable time overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
